What CEL codes put the ECU in limp mode?
CKF sensor....damn, I am drawing a blank now.
I know that both of your o2 sensors can be gone and you won't go into safemode!

tdc- tdc sensor
ckp-crank position
vts-vtec solenoid

It might have changed later on, but my P61 never put the car into limp mode with no vtec solenoid.
