I have been looking into getting some red JDM recaros, but the question I have is the space between the seats. Once these seats are installed is it necessary to get the JDM center console? From what I have seen in videos and such there doesn't appear to be much room between the seats for the center console. I also wanted to know what other pieces of the seats I would need, ie...if I had to switch rails for the JDM seats, or can I use the stock USDM rails.

Also, if anyone in the LA area has red (or yellow) JDM recaros for sale let me know so I can perhaps check them out.

I should be getting some red ones in, PM me I will give you a price, also, you will need Rails, you cannot use your stock rails. As for clearence issues i have seen some fit with no problems, but others the seatbelt buckley rubs on the center console.

 

My seatbelt rubs against my center console and it's a pain to adjust the seats because there is no room.

It would look cleaner IMO with a JDM Center console!
