ok this is a pain in the ***. get a 88 crx si dash to find out my 90 cluster doesnt fit in there. will a 90-91 cluster cover fit on the 88 dash so i can still use my 90-91 civic cluster..
if so does anyone have one around?

i'm a little confused...
you bought an 88 crx dash for your 90, and the cluster dosen't fit? it dosen't screw in, or the cluster cover/hood dosen't fit (square cover won't fit round cluster)?

if the the cluster dosen't screw in, go to honda and buy cluster pedistal mounts for the 90. but the cluster mounts should be the same. only different ones are for hatchback/sedan dashes.

if it's the cover that won't fit, then yes, a round cover will screw right into the 88 dash.

it fits you might have to relocate the defrost button but i think the screws mount in the same place. i just put a 89 cluster in a 91 and it left me w/ a gap so i know what you mean.the 90-91 and 88-89 are different slightly.

 

nah i tried my cluster pedastals from 90. i mean the cluster screwed in fine but the cover was wack and the top of the cluster hit the cover.

can i just throw on a 90-91 crx cluster cover onto the 88?
