okay wtf?? help guys im scured
i was at the local street races and i ran my car pretty hard... on the way back home i notice this very annoying ticking noise.. at first i thought my exhaust piping or someshit was dragging... had a friend look at it while at a stoplight and it wasnt anything dragging... so i went to the next gas station... the car was ******* rumbling!!! when i get there.. i pop the hood and smoke comes out kidna like the ecplise in f&f .. well not even close to that much but only a little.. , i check my dipstick and there is barely ANY oil in there.. and btw i didnt change my oil in 6k miles ;/ anyways.. i put 3 quarts of 10-30 and one quart of sae 40 and started the car... it still ticks but not as bad as before... but i cant drive it.. cause when i get past 1500 rpm it starts ticking like crazy.. so pretty much i gotta go 20 in 4th or 5th lol
my friend told me its my valves and i need to do a major oil change then ajust my valves.. another guy told me to take off my head replace my head gasket and lubricate it after doing a major oil change ;( any ideas guys? im hella freaked out right now and i dont really got much money to spend

i'd say you roasted something. i'd start looking for another motor, cause it sounds like you're gonnna need to build yours. I check my oil once a week wether I need it or not. at least every time I got the hood up. that sucks.

street racing without checking your oil first
Not changing your oil in 6k
You spun a bearing my friend. thats my guess. Check your oil pressure.
Also while the car is running unplug the spark plug wire's one at a time to see if the knock stops. Plug the each one back in after you check it so the car is always on at least 3 cylinders. If it stops when you unplugged one of them , its a bearing.

sorry dog but looks like your gonna be needing another motor, its not hard but its time cunsuming and it sucks not driving, what I would suggest is take it to a professional mehcanic and get it checked out first, then figure out what you need.

and btw i didnt change my oil in 6k miles
and wat do u mean by a "major oil change" ??
an oil change is an oil change... there is no "major oil change"
hmm the car still runs.. just with that nasty knocking sound it scares me lol bearing eh? so its worth it better to get a new engine? ive got a 1 year warrenty on it.. but parts only -_- how much could this cost me
oil crank is not cranking enough motor oil in to ur block, i think u **** up ur piston ring, check ur comparssion in each cylinder ! just incase u **** up ur piston too ! i think its eighter cylinder or ur lucky its only a pistoon ring ! easy to replace ! but cost a lot. for LABOR. or it could be even ur valves or punched in to one of ur pistons i know someone who did that b4! GOOD LUCK !
thanks
i im gonna get a friend to pull my car to the shop.. then im gonna find out what the dilly on it is.. if its oer 350 bucks.. no go.. ill take the parts and do it with friends.. if its way over 400+ for labor.. then im gonna pull my zc out and save up for a jspec gs-r ;/ and never even remember my zc

What an idiot. I have no sympathy for you. Karma got the best of you.
jerk
innocent lives? wtf who said we race on residencials lol we goto greatly secluded areas.. such as industrial or closed beaches.. ect ect we only risk our own lives and the lives of other racers there thats it
lol
lol
by the sound of your first post it seems that you saw a little bit of oil on the dipstick and then still added four total quarts of oil?
ok ppl i think it is a rod bearing.. all my friends said it is and ect ect.. so im gonna take it to the shop and tell them the oil leaking problem that that were supposed to fix didnt work -_- and now this happened . lol they prolly charge me for labor but lets see
dont even rev it, go very slow in your car to the shop the ticking will get LOUDER and LOUDER thats when you know it will die and most likely cease/freeze the bottom end.. samething happoen to my talon when i was racing.. It's your bottom end(rod bearings) drop oil pan and see if you got some play on the rods
1g talons have this thing if your oil filter isnt really really tight then it will UNSCREW itself. but in my case i used a oil filter wrench and tighten it alot and it somehow happen to screw off automatically with me not knowing til it was too late.. tick tick tick clap clap clap knock knock _________choke__________
So I'm $1400 down the hole for engine plus add more $$ for parts and install.
