HELP!! Any mods to put an Si tranny in a DX setup???
Alright as you can see i have a d16z6 swap however i've been using my 89 DX tranny, and my car is originally DX, now do i have to modify anything in order to use a 91 Si tranny?

there is no difference between the Si trans and the DX trans except for the final drive everything will bolt right up

You will need to buy the SI clutch as I believe the spline count on the DX and SI are different. The axles will fit no problem. Deffinately do the swap! I had a DX transmission on my '88 DX HB w/ZC and when I switched to the SI box it made a hugh difference in acceleration and top end throttle response.

SI and DX clutches are the same...it is the model year as to where the clutch changes. 88, 89, 90-91 clutches are different.
