Which Kakimoto exhaust are you looking for? They have the GT1.0Z, N1, and Kakimoto R available for ITR.

Get a 3" exhaust if you're boosted.

Don't even waste your time with anything else.

the resonators are not straight through! which would obstruct flow.

That only apply to the resonator on the Kakimoto R 70mm version. The resonator on other models are as straight through as you can get on a resonator.

no problem

Even though the resonator on the Kakimoto R 70mm doesn't look too straight through, but it seem like it didn't give as big as a restriction as it look. None of the owner I know of complain about it, and few of them made over 200whp on their car.

I have a Q regarding the N1.

How loud is it...comparable to the Spoon N1? T1R? Or Buddyclub Spec 3?

Or if anyone has a sound clip that they are willing to share with the rest of us.

I heard the N1 and the Spoon N1 before, and I think they are very similar, but the Kakimoto N1 is a bit quieter. (Both car have CAI, header, and stock cat.)

Yes, I was interested in the GT 1.0Z titanium. Does anyone have a pic of that exhaust? How does it sound? Right now I'm running custom 3" piping with a 3" APEXi N1 muffler. Sounds decent, but I want to save weight mostly. 70mm is perfect for my application anyways.

just a FYI the GT 1.0z comes ONLY in 60mm for dc2 so you are screwed since u are turbo

if u want kakimoto the only thing i would consider is the 70mm one.

If you want to save weight and a 3" muffler, there is a GT1.0Z 3" universal muffler available.

Here is the picture of the Ti GT1.0Z exhaust.

[edit] damn it, can't get the picture to work, I give up!! Let me know your email address and I will email you the pictures!!

Actually, you're 100% wrong on that. It says in Japanese that it's for a GDB, which is the designation for the WRX STi in Japan.

I run the Kakimoto 70mm R exhaust. It looks very good and sounds very good. It is not loud but after a long day at work, the noise will get to me a little bit (but that was also true when the car was stock). Overall very happy with the product, very good quality.
