i have a 88dx and i am so confused on a swap i want a b20 yet i want top end but i want mad torque . i am also lookin for good body kits and which one looks right on it need help i am open for suggestions . B20

 

low end = b20
top end = vtec
1 + 1 = CRvtec

you could go b16 or b18 and put a quick spooling turbo on it, that'll give you low end

If you're gonna get a CRVTEC get a B16 head. Basically a type R head without the nice cams, stronger components, and factory port job (I believe, cough cough).

and then when you get that itch for more speed you can drop in some big cams(jun3, todaC) and some ~12:1 slugs, injectors, fuel mgmt. balance entire rotating assy. mmmm... CRVTEC with worked head and block
