Default high performance all season tires...do they exist?

I'm getting some 18's and I want something that will be at least decent in the winter, but still handle well when pushed during good weather. Any suggestions?

Screw the 18's and just use your stock 16's (if you infact own an s2000) and slap on some dedicated snow tires. All "high performance all seasons's" are iffy in both summer and winter weather that ive used.

I do have an s2000 and I was asking here because this board moves fast and you tend to know your ****! I just got these 18's and I'm dying to put them on. I cant wait for the spring. I'll just use my stock rims and the new s03's at the track if I ever go.

Umm ill start this off slow.

1) 18's will slow you down, do you know that??
2)High performance and all season do not belong in the same sentence. The best high perf. all season is the Michelin Pilot sport AS. Expect to pay huge dough for these. Especially in 18". The alternative is Dunlop 5000's. These are supposedly decent in summer but poor in the winter.
3)Get snow tires and protect your investment. Nothing sucks worse than crashing in the winter because you have no traction. Every all season tire is a compromise at best.

Thanks for keeping it slow...

I've considered everything you said, but I have to put them on. Thats why if I go to the track I'll use my stock rims. Even with the 18's I'll still be kicking most ricers asses....especially around here. If need be, I'll buy dedicated winter tires, and summer tires and just swap them. I was just hoping there was an alternative.

Put the winter tires on steel rims. The tires will last longer and you have less chance of wrecking a Steely on a curb. If you do, it'll be cheap.
