Default Finally finished!!

I ambered the gauge cluster, climate control, cruise control button and defrost switch. Didnt come out as well as I wanted it to and I'm probably going to use a sharpie next time. Anyway, took 4 hours to tear everything down and amber the bulbs. Heres the pics

The whole dash.

Climate control

Cruise control (crappy pic, couldnt stop shaking)

The climate control is very fun to remove I installed a JDM EG6 climate control face and bulbs in my VX a while back, ugh!

What type of paint are you using on the bulbs? I wouldn't mind showing this to a friend of mine. He wanted amber gauge lighting without buying a JDM cluster and having KMH instead of MPH.

I used Pactra spray paint. Racing finish with no lead. Number RC256 Competition Orange. You can also use testors Competition Orange number 1628. You can also use a red sharpie marker. I think that would turn out better. I had alot of problems with the paint. It would cover the bulbs evenly and would drip. I'm going to use the red sharpie once the orange gives me problems.

Its basically about 6 bulbs. When you take off the gauge cluster look where the all the bulbs are. Trust me, when you look at it, you will know. Its pretty self-explanitory. If you have anyother questions then PM me.

The japanese name/word for '4 door civic sedan'

Japanese people love to give models of cars another name...
eg what most of the world saw as the Mazda 323, they call them Mazda Astina or Familia. nissan 300zx, they call them fairlady etc etc

Nice. I wouldn't mind doing that in order to match my Alpine head unit.

your welcome, I really appreciate the thank you , Im here willing to help anytime man.

looks like it came out pretty good to me
My paint stuck pretty well, I kinda did half the bulb at a time so it wouldnt run as much from rotating it.
You think it was just the paint you used or the design of the 6th gens lighting that made it come out not as good as you wanted?
I know when my friend RJ(4thgsi) tried it on his ef he said it came out A LOT dimmer then it did on my car, maybe there is something different about the design of the lighting that doesnt work as well, who knows. Just thought Id bring that up.
