have zc engine now in the hatch, saving up for a gsr swap with type r parts.

curious as to what kind of mpg you guys get when your not getting on it, just driving around.

Well in my rex I get 36mpg, and thats with a p28 w/ skunk2 chip

 

wow thats better than my b16 w/ s1 tranny (about 30mpg).....what tranny you using?

 

i get about 30 mpg in my b17 swapped ef

 

i'll answer for pat...he's running the LS tranny b/c he wants to SC the GSR motor.

 

A buddy of mine has a b18C1 in his rex. I'm pretty sure he said he's getting around 30-32 mpg normally driving.

He also states that driving it like one should (hard)... he's maybe getting 20-22 mpg.

Not bad, considering it's easily a 13.5 car, all motor.

in my 92 hatch, i was gettin mid 40's on the freeway. b16a bottem end, ctr pistons, stock gsr head w/gsr tranny

 

Th transmission also makes a difference. You will get better mileage with a GSR transmission than with a B16A transmission.
