Well I went to look at the integra gsr that was for 2500 and the guy said someone just came by to look at it before I got off work but the thing is he got home 10 minutes before I got there and he said 20 minutes ago someone looked at the car so he was just bullsh*tting me. Then I took the car for a ride and I must say for 180000 miles on car it pulled really hard alot faster than my brothers 96 integra ls...but the thing is the gears would grind in 2nd and 4th (syncros?) and then the clutch was grapping really good (pressure plate?) so I went back and offered him 2400 for the car (i really just wanted the engine gsr rims and seats but he dont need to know that does he) he then said that the otehr guy offerened him 3200 and i was like ok and he said he would give it to me since i was first for 3000 and I was like well how about 2400 cash since tranny is messed up and so is the clutch...then he said its not tranny and clutch its just shift linkage and that it wouldnt cost much to fix...i said bullshit its the tranny and if he could sell it for 3200 he should do it and if not give me a call....do you think I'm wrong? I had similiar problems with civic so I know its something with tranny and clutch I mean the car wouldnt go into gear when I was in 4th it just slipped then finally engaged....should I give him 3000 or should I wait and get one for hmo and have a better reliable motor with startup warranty????let me know what you think

it's a 94 GSR right?? 3 seems GREAT! I would take that car in a heartbeat for 4!

 

yes its a 94 gsr. blah its just the principle in the paper he said 2500 and i mean thats what I have to offer him. I'm sure the enigne is going to have problems the check engine light was on and the maintence light thing was on and I mean tranny and **** was fucked up...still think its a good deal?

i say give him 3. since it has 180k+ it needs a rebuild probably and syncros and such, will cost much to fix. sounds like it has some problems. but if the rest of the car is still good, i say take it.

 

thats a nice shell for 3 grand plus u get a motor to rebuild
