I wanted to get a SiR lip from jdmhondaparts.com and I wondered if anyone has ordered that from them. How do they looks on a coupe? If anyone had pics, it would be great. And also, are they that hard to install? I read some other posts and people just say that you strap it on with 3m double stick tape and bolt it on. Just wanted to make sure how to do it correctly. Thanks.

 

I'd avoid giving them business at all costs. But that's just me.

 

how much do they sell it for? $200 shipped or something? I think Manchester Honda sells the same thing for around $80 + shipping because it doesn't carry the "JDM SiR" label, only the "OEM factory lip" label. http://www.manhonda.com/ap/index.cfm...0&PG=3&PID=140

 

dont knock jdmhondaparts! they are good guys.... great prices and service.. I just picked up my carbon fiber hood from them and a set of ef sir knuckles.

I appreciate the help everyone, and yeah the SiR lip is about $200 including shipping. That OEM one that was on manhonda.com looked pretty good, and a price that's right.

 

On that same note...Don't tell me what to do then. You are probably one of two people on this entire board to say those things. One of which bought the owners car, and will recieve good prices and service because of that. Other than that I have had personal experiences with their idea of "customer serveice".

there are the exact same LIP.. please don't go to JDMHONDAPARTS to buy it..or anywhere else.. only order from manhonda or another honda wholesale parts .website..u can pick the lip up at your dealer for about 110.. if you can't wait.. or approx 80 at manhonda before shipping charges..I picked mine up at my dealership. I didn't even know they had it in stock i was actually shocked

 

Also it bolts onto the bumper with the supplied hardware kit. (sometimes the hardware is like 14 bucks more.) nice lip. I used to have one.

 

jhp.com has shitty prices but great service and quality, if you are extremely concerned at getting something in good shape and 100% authentic then buy from them, but it will come at a price.

**** the SiR lip. Just go to your local Honda dealer and get the OEM honda optional equipment lip. I just got mine for $70. Why pay more than twice as much for the SiR one when the usdm one is the same?

the sir lip and the oem lip are the same things, shops just can charge more when they call it jdm. .

I got my lip from honda for $70 cuz my buddy hooked me up with an employee discount. I don't think they are more than $100 or so regularly. Check out Manchester honda too - they sell em for $81.75
