installing shifter bushings

installing shifter bushings
i got a set of ES shifter bushings, i was able to put on the bushing that goes where the shifter is, but i cant seem to fit the other ones (two round bushings) on the shifter stabilizer because the bolt that holds it together won't come out.. anyone have any experiences with these and can tell how to install them?
