Default D16A6 Fuel Injector questions

Putting a cam/head into my EX (don't laugh) and the cam I'm using requires some fuel delivery work...

So, where should I get new injectors from? I already have the fuel rail (AEM). And, would I need a FPR?

Thanks in advance. I'd like to have all of this on by the end of December, so it's not too big of a rush.

if you are going all out on the motor get 1st gen talon injectors, talon fuel pump a and a frp at the least. all that will cost under 200 and for fine tuneing get a afc theres no way around it. If you wana go big do yourself a favor and spend 250$ on it too.i dont know how much of an advantage a rail would do vs the stock one but if you already have it i guess it dosnt hurt

Your OE injectors will be sufficient. If you are worried about their performance, havem flowed and blueprinted.

If your motor isnt high compression, your stock fuel injectors will be sufficent. What cam are you using? Is the motor high compression?

Well... I'm looking at the #16 cam at this link with 10.5:1 pistons... and some rather wild headwork, along with ported TB, intake work, yadda yadda yadda. It'll be a bit away from stock.

What do the stock injectors flow? Will I need a FPR at all?

With my experience with L98s, LT1s and LT4s (not to mention a bit on the LS1 side) FPR should be used only on cars with a bit more work, so experience says I should put one on now, but... hell, I dunno.

see my sig and its way ******* over kill. your fine with your stock 240cc injectors. buy an afc. see my paper on tuning off the o2 sensor (search). if you buy a vafc instead of an safc the blue wire trick wont work, use a multimeter instead.

So... I'd be better off going with stock injectors and a SAFC than anything, right?

Cool... I'm on it. Now to find a good place for a SAFC.

Can I use a VAFC on a non-VTEC car? Eventually, this car will have a new motor in it... just not right now (I don't have the time to take it down that long... it's my daily driver). Can a VAFC be used until I make the swap?

Thanks for the info... this is making the work a LOT easier.

Reeeaaaallllyy?

That would be cool... Nitrous Express sells an Incognito system with a 1.4 lb bottle. I'm not a fan of nitrous, but a little bottle like that would be fun on occasions.
