well, i was at import auto salvage today, and i was talking to a the guy that owns the palce and i asked him how hard would it be for him to get me a RHD Prelude SiR-S, he said he could get one, no problem, but i would pay a ton just to make it legal. he then told me that they could build me one for less than that, he could just get me a full front clip and roof, and even doors, interior etc, and we coudl weld up the rest of a USDM car that he had that had a fuked up front end, then paint to match. i was just wondering what you all thought of this idea, yes, it'll be a year or 2 before i can afford it, i told him that too, but what do ya'll think?

 

I think it would be cool as hell. The December Super Street had a RHD integra that had been built that way. The guy paid $1,000 for a totaled POS integra that needed major work, and put on all of the parts from a RHD JDM integra. He probably still spent $30,000 getting the car to where it was, but I imagine that's still cheaper then importing one. I've seen a 4th gen import on ebay, but I don't think I've seen any 5th gens on American soil.

Sounds cool, but thats something I wouldn't do. If you decide to do it, at least you wouldn't have to lean over your passenger seat to talk to a girl next to you at the stop light

 

i think it would be more fun to black out the windows, and when some riceboy rolls up on the right side and revs, just roll down the window and be like "what the f*ck do you want"

 

Type-S engine = not that great

why would you want that exactly? People import those engines all the time...what is the exact difficulty you are speaking of?
