i was wondering if i use plugs to plug my head and the gooseneck inlet for engine coolant will it cause my head to have above normal temps? wondering because i have no heater core so i wanted to get rid or the hoses

 

i think plugging it would be fine since when you turn your heater control to cold air it stops flow to the hoses...

probably easiest thing would be to loop one hose around.. bypassing the heater core
