what do you guys suggest?
i am about to come up on some money and i want to do a swap and turbo my EK.
i need it for my daily so.
B18B turbo or B18C5 turbo?
the thing is i want to hit anywhere in the 12's on drag radials. which setup do you guys thing will be safer to be driving around daily?
and can i even get any swap like B18C5-B18C into the 12's on radials NA?
i did a search and couldn't find much.
so basically for me to get a 12 could i do it NA with a type R or a GSR swap?
i don't want LS/Vtec.
or do i have to either turbo the LS or the type R to get 12's on radials?
and yes i am gong to build the internals.

You could get a b18b and build it with the same money that you would spend on a b18c5. The built b18b will outperform the b18c5 stock if both were turboed. The b18c5 is geat motor, but from where you r coming from, i would suggest building a b18b.
If you want to go all motor, I suggest you go the h22 route. It's a strong engine and a great one for NA hatches. If you want to be competitive, I suggest you go NA. There are way to many turbo drag hatches running around. Go NA. You could easily hit 12's with a built h22 hatch on radials. Easily.
If this your first turbo project?
-IF YES
Turbo a d-series. LBs are 2-300 and plenty of room for error.

well could i get 12's NA with a built type R? on radials?
i don't like the prelude motors that much.
and i don't want to turbo my stock motor because i know it will be too much to get 12's out of it.

Don't think of it as a Prelude motor.
Give me one reason you don't like it, can't put a Type-arRrr sticker on?
If you are serious about hitting 12's and beyond on NS, h22 is the way to go.
As for the c5, I really don't know much about em so I can't help you.

the 2 swaps i have seen with a H22 got beat by a GSR swap with pretty much the same builds.
and the H22 weighs a grip.
i woudl rather take the lighter weight motor and higher revving B18C5 thatn the H22.
its just my preffereance
