i keep on of those cardboard 4-cup holder things from macdonalds in my car. i've been meaning to cut a piece of large PVC pipe and screw it in somewhere....just havent gotten around to it...
i've heard of people using them from old toyotas or something and the fit in the dash....i dont remember. a search might uncover that though because i know there's a post somewhere here about that

Well, you could get the cupholder from bc systems. It's a serious piece of machinery. I'm (hopefully) putting one in within the next couple of days. Look for pics of it when people start posting pics from the Long Island meet on Sunday.
What about the Husco armrest with the built-in cupholders????

All of the neat technology our cars have...and we are still light years behind on cupholders lol. Nah, I bough one of those 50 cent plastic ones made to hang off your door window seal. But rather than try that feat, I took the cupholder and made a bracket for it, drilled and screwed it to my center counsel just below the cig lighter. It sorta hangs down in the space there between the counsel and shifter, getto? yes. Does it work? well I gotta pull the lighter out to get the room to put a drink in but other than that it works pretty damn well hehe.
where can we get this cup holders? i will be in queens this weekend, can u post more info about the meet in LI. thanks.
Go to the "members corner" section - there's a sticky there about the meet.
i work at target

I was watching a show about german drivers the other day. They were talking about how german cars are'nt made with things like cup holders because the germans have a very different idea about what driving is. "In Germany driving is something that you concentrate on whenever you are behind the wheel. It is an activity in itself. In the states driving is just one more function in a sea of distractions." Pretty good show. By the way the death rate per 100,000 driving hours is .73 on the autobhan (no speed limit in most parts) and .84 on u.s. freeways. Go figure.

I don't eat or drink in my car. I'm too much of a "Driver" person. When I get in the Redbaron, I put on my Aviator's cap, and I drive. I don't fool around with soda's and things like that. I think I used to be a racecar driver is my past life, because I just love the feeling of getting behind the wheel.
