you need to do more reasearch on the itb's. when you do you will find that by the nature of itbs you HAVE to goto a standalone ecu, you cant expect to gain 30 hp and not goto a standalone.. the factory ecu just cant deal with it

TWM makes a set of 50's or 52's, includes fuel rail, all that jazz. They're ~$2400, and as low as $2000 on special. You can probably get away with a vafc, but, a standalone with make your car a lot happier.

52mm ?? what happens if they would be 54mm entry carbs does it make a difference or not that much....

do you have this setup or just posted information ... how would the aem ems be to program this setup also.. can 30whp be seen on a fully tuned aem with ITBS on a builts n/a drag h22a motor with STAGE 3 crower drag profiles and high compression setup ... I'd like to see 230whp is that possible.. till what rpm those itb's stop producing power ?

I don't have this setup. Yes, 54mm would make a difference, but you have to realize, n/a tuning takes quite a bit of thought. If you composed a system of 54mm, and knew it would work for your application, and had someone competent of performing the headwork necessary to match the intake, go for it.

As far as 30whp... well. With a properly tuned ECU, ITB's, cams, and headwork; in short, yes. If you're even considering n/a tuning, you know that uprated valvetrain components are a must, especially if you want to ultilize the ITB's to their fullest, seeing as how they breathe best at high rpm's.

I don't quite know where I'm going with this reply, but I also don't really know what you want to know. If you're considering ITB's, I'd recommend a great deal of research. Talk to some people who own them. Miata road racing webboards wouldn't be a bad place to check. There's a bunch of them that run the TWM setup. You could also try to find people using the Toda setup on B engines, but there's not quite as many of those people rolling around.

Hope that helped a little..
