Default David's Simple How-To on removing stickers

This is what happens when you are bored. Ever get tired of looking at that warning sticker on your tank. Below you will find an easy way on removing them.

Supplies:

(1)- Hair Dryer
(2)- Goof Off
(3)- Rag

Time:

15-20 minutes

First get your bike close enough to an outlet, or you could run an extension cord. This will take some patience, so don't rush it, or some of the sticker will remain on there. Begin my heating up the sticker, and attempt to pry it off with your finger. Repeat that process, and then you'll be ready for the clean up.

Put some Goof Off on a rag, and wipe until smooth. Pretty easy, huh?
Below are pics of what I did.

Yes, you do have too much free time on your hands.

Great pics by the way. I'm definitely gonna give this a try...when I get a bike.

hahaha, good for you. Now it's time to polish your frame and wheels. Nice looking gix. Should look into some frame sliders and flushmounts

I've done that before. There are heat tools that work just like a hair dryer you can buy. My mama had one from some craft store. Basically it was just a hairdryer with no handle.

Good stuff, make sure they're plastic... not billet fancy looking ones. I've seen a guy on a gix750 drop a gentle lowside and have the bike start flipping b/c the metal sliders don't slide.
