I am the man that sent my head to DPR. Allow me to put it this way. I sent the head on November 3rd of '01 and was told that I would 'definitely have it back by christmas at the latest." No problem, fine by me. Most places do it faster than 8 weeks but hey I had heard good things. So christmas, then new years, then february, march, april all roll around. I make literally dozens of calls to Dan asking where my head is, when can I get it back, and always ALWAYS "oh it should be out next week just waiting on this or that." In the end I waited about 7 months to have the work done when I was told it would take 1 month plus a week shipping on each side.

The work was good. But here is my take on DPR and the awful service I was given. When DPR started out they were the best, and this is mostly because they were the only. Other shops did port honda's, but not on the scale that DPR did. Dan took on way too much, and lost a number of employees who now run their own porting companies. Dan now does work for honda and a lot of other pro-level stuff, so when it comes to crunch the little guy like me and you wait around for 7 months. Is it worth it? No. Maybe two or three years ago it would have been, but now a number of companies like portflow do awesome work in a fraction of the time, and at an easier price for your wallet to handle.

That is my very nice way of saying:
DO NOT SEND YOUR HEAD TO DPR UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES
