I saw this posted in the Integra forum so I thought I'd share the info in this forum. Injen has posted a new list of recently CARB approved intakes. Even if you purchased before the approval...you can still obtain a sticker with proof of purchase.

NOtice they aren't approved for the Civic EX 96-00.

Let alone all of the cold air extensions are not approved, only the short rams.

I had an injen on my old accord and it was carb legal with an eo carb sticker... is this old news?

THey are covered if you bought the Race Division but if you originally bought the Short ram and then got the cold air extension....no dice.

 

good news rod....i might be using a short ram intake on my setup....maybe even a cold air intake....but i don't know yet for sure. i'll have my hatch ready for the next dyno day...just for ***** and giggles....

The IS (Short Ram) is CARB legal. The extension can be removed.
If it is not removed do you really think that it will make it not pass visual.
The intake is carbed, along with a lot of others... for those that care.

 

still wouldn't buy an injen.
