I have 2 options: Take the extra money Ive gathered and put it into my Prelude - I would slightly build and turbo approx 12 psi at track. or trade my car in and get a new stock s2000 deep silver with red interior and keep it stock for a while. I will be driving either car ALOT.
As an ex prelude owner.........(92 h23 turbo)
The s2000 is much more performance orintated.......
Its not as fast as the lude, but it out performs it everywhere else.....
And thats with no mods to the s2ooo........

uhh, i dont understand the buy a S2000 or fix my prelude...... those are 2 COMPLETELy diff costs. fixing up a prelude you already have would not be anywhere near the $34,000 price tag for a new S2000.
what your car is worth + turbo kit is less than
what your car is worth + extra to get S2000

Also as a ex-Prelude and now current S2000 owner....I'd say go S2000. If it's for track (roadcourse and not 1/4 mile) the S2000 is in a different league. Plus the S2000 is a newer car, while your Lude is now a bastardized line up, and as your financial welfare grows, you can mod the S2K well over what you can do to your Prelude.
Yes the two options are different costs, but you have to realize that when you throw $2000 or more dollars towards a turbo, you'll have to spend a good amount getting it tuned right. Also, consider how much mileage you already have on the H22 (or H23) and how much longer do you think it'll last with whatever your style of driving after it's FI'd.
Other options are open for you as well, you can pick up a used S2000 with warranty and well taken care of under $25K.
Don't get me wrong, I loved and still miss my Lude, however, after buying the S2000 I was pretty upset at myself. I was upset at how much money I threw at the Lude (and then lost, when I didn't recoup any of the costs of mods from the buyer) and it still hadn't measured up to the fun factor from the S2K. In fact, my Prelude ended up spending the last 1.5 yrs of ownership in the garage as a queen...I just always wanted to drive the S2K.

i already think of this, finally i bought the new S2000 and i am going to sell the 01 prelude. rear wheel drive is more fun, i dont think u could have what u expect from the turbo prelude. we couldnt give u too much opinion because it's all depend on u.
S2000 - get more look, small, fun etc (u wont regret if u get it. i am not regret now)
Turbo Prelude - boost, fun with turbo, how much hp u expect? how much money u wanna spend? it's not easy.
good luck
