Hey all. So I have this problem, in my 5th gen, sometimes while driving, sometimes after I lock the car, sometimes without doing anything at all, the car suddenly starts locking, I mean it hits the actuator over and over, click click click click click.

Sometimes it will only do it a couple of times, and sometimes it will do it until I hit unlock and lock again.

Any ideas? I did install an accord trunk popper into the alarm system, however, this problem existed before that.

might be a short somewhere
or a defective brain

 

I took it to the dealer, it was a defective lock solenoid covered under the warranty
