im planning on buying some HID and i have never changed the lights on my civic what size bulb do i need??

Hrm I thought Sylvania made silverstars that fit Civics... It says on their site that a 98 Civic takes the "9003" model and they only make silverstars in 9004 and up? I could have sworn they fit on Civics, I was planning on getting some.

 

Nevermind, I found them.

 

I just called the local Advanced Auto Parts by me, and they are running a special on the silver stars this week. Buy one, get the second at 1/2 price. Not a bad deal since they quoted me $24 each. SCC just had a good write up on these bulbs too. I think I will be getting a set tomorrow.

 

 

Just got my Silverstars. Not only were they on sale (buy one get 2nd at 1/2 off), but there is also a $10 rebate available from Sylvania right now. They look really good. First, I put one in and did a comparison, and the Silverstar was much whiter. Did not look blue at all. Made the stock bulb look orange in comparison. Driving impression... I like them, but they are different. The light on the road it has a slight blue/yellow tint from the drivers perspective, but the road looked more evenly lit. The real test will be the 1/2 hour drive home from work tomorrow night. So far though

 

9003 and H4 are the same size.
