Default Are F22 trannys all the same?

I'm looking at a 5-speed tranny for my 94 EX. The one I'm looking at says "THIS UNIT WILL ONLY FIT THE FOLLOWING: Accord '94-95 M.T.; DX and LX" So I'm wondering if there is a difference between the trannys. I'm thinking they're all the same but why would they leave out the EX model?

The trannies of H & F series motors will all bolt-up, but gear ratios are different.

final on the F-series is 4.02 or something and the final on the H series is 4.27 or something

1st and 2nd ratios are the same, 3rd, 4th, and 5th are much closer on the H-series.

What's the difference between the EX and the LX/DX trannys? Which would be better for boost?

I agree w/ Nick my Helms manual for the '94 Accord says FD is 4.026. Only 5th gen Accord w/ a differ FD is the Wagon, it has a FD of 4.266 (same as h22).

DX/LX would be better for boost, ex has closer gear ratios then that of the DX/LX.

I'm really still debating... I was dead set on the h22+ turbo but now I'm thinking I may just do my F22. Decisions ,decisions. I guess it really depends on my financial outlook for the new year...

where did you get that number? 94 helms says 4.026 (or was it 4.062?)FD for all non-wagons. Only that the EX and Coupe trims had a 0.933 4th gear vs .903 4th for non-ex, non-coupe trims. The other gears are the same among the 94 5-spd coupe/sedans, the wagon had a 4.266 FD (forgot if the other gears are the same thou).

there were many diff F22 tranny's and they had diff gear ratios, 90-93 accords also used f22 tranny's and i think probably have diff ratios as well.

personally i would not swap in the h22, i would find a h23 build it then stick it in with the turbo or just throw it in right away and turbo that....if you short on cash just stick with the f22 and throw the turbo on that, and take the money you saved on building it ...h22 and turbo is just to much work in my eyes.
