What size trans cooling hose needed.....

What size trans cooling hose needed.....
My local auto parts store has no transmission cooling hoses and no listing for the size required. Suggested I just use fuel line hoses. 3/8 hose LOOKS like it might work, anyone know for sure what's needed, thanks......
