I have a 2001 crv. I was recently driving home from the store and all was normal till I tried to accelerate on the freeway. It took a lot of effort to get it to speed up to 70 which is not typical of it. After it got there it was gone I tooky exit and still fine
Half way down the block it suddenly lost power. Coasted to a safe Pot to park and came back next morning..nothing would get it to start
Not a jump nothing
Here's what I have done so far

New fuel pump
New distributor rotor and cap
Checked wires and boots all good
Checked spark plugs and all are good.

Everything is a it should be except for some reason I'm getting no spark at all. There is power getting to everything just no spark off the distributor.

I have a new crankshaft sensor that is being put in to see if that is the issue but would rather not go through the hassle of it if there is a simpler less involved fix. Any help would be appreciated.
