steering wheel shake under acceleration and deceleration
Hey guys, I'm stumped, first of all i have a 95 hatch with a b18c1 and a ls trans. as the title states the steering wheel shakes only when accelerating and decelerating in a straight line and doesn't happen when I'm just holding a steady speed. the best way i can put it to words is its like its trying to torque steer but like little baby ones and cant decide what tire to send/receive power to/from. i changed my trans mission oil last year when i did my clutch about 5-6 thousand km ago. pulled the fill plug on my trans and the oil looked good, i believe that it could be one of the following any insight is welcome and any tips for diag as well. the half shaft is has gone out of balance, the steady bearing for the half shaft is going, a bearing/bushing in the trans is starting to go, something in the diff is starting to go (From my knowledge the trans and diff are comply stock and the trans has never been opened up, and the mileage is unknown), could a wheel bearing cause this? and i have to say idk what suspension is on my car but the bolt pattern is 4x114.5 i think itr but im not too sure so wheel bearings could be hard to find because the rear bearings are larger, i did try to put a 4x100 hub and bearing on the rear at one point. thanks!
