Keyless Entry 2000 EX not working
Hi guys, I was looking to pick some brains in this forum to try and get my keyless entry to work again. The car is a 2000 civic ex, and used to have keyless entry. I still have the fob from when the entry was working, battery changed and lights up red when the lock/unlock/panic button is pressed. I just replaced the keyless entry module in the driver's footwell and the entry is still not working. I can't get either modules (the new and the origional) to go into programming mode. There are some modifications to the wiring by the ecu, it is running a jdm computer so it has a jumper harness and it had the CKF bypass trick done so the two ckf wires are spliced. I also tested all the fuses and they are working. I am STUMPED as to how to get these working again.
Appreciate the help!

keyless entry has nothing to do with the ECU. At this point, I would just ditch that idea and get an aftermarket keyless entry kit/alarm. I'm assuming the door does lock if you press the lock button on the door cards...right?
After the trying to replace everything but the fob, I bought a cheap one off amazon to try. Turns out the key fob was the issue. I was able to program it and it is working now! Thanks for the help @NVturbo
