Hello everyone ! I recently buyed as a second fun car a 1996 Civic EJ9 , with a D14A4 engine and stock ECU , A Friend of mine challenged me to turbo it , the cheapest way possible. I was wondering ( because back then we did it with D16Y4s ) if a D14A4 with the sames 12:1 FMU could work with a 0.4 bar Setup WITHOUT ECU tuning ?
( This is not for a daily so Reliability is not primary )
For now , i was going with :

Turbo Exhaust manifold ( used but okay )
K03 KKK turbo , inter la wastegate ( the one in '90 TDI engines )
Intercooler from old Diesel BMW's ( to be determined )

Did anyone ever Turbo a stock D14A4 , or could help me just understand how is this engine différent from the D16Y4 ? Thanks a lot !
