no service connector civic ek
Hello! i have a 1999 honda civic ek 1.5 v-tec with d15z6. had to change headgasket and got an engine light afterwards. When i was gonna check the code i realised that i most likely dont have the connector anymore due to a previous owner cutting it when installing a piggyback. Thats what i think happend anyways, cant find the connector at the usual places. So i guess i can connect the "channels" directly in the ecu? Anyone knows which outlets or have a electrical scheme for the box?
Also OVD2 Bluetooth dingles are so cheap and capable now that there’s no good reason to still be flashing codes. Unless the car has actually been converted to OBD1, that is
True... but is the OP referring to the OBD-2 diagnostic port or the 2-wire OBD-1 style service connector ? If it is the latter, it could have been cut off and the OP doesn't recognize the wires if they are visible... or the plug is tucked up in the dash and hasn't been discovered yet.
