Default What is this part for???

I just bought a 2024 Honda Ridgeline RTL and this was in the glove box. Does anyone know what this goes to or what it does? The key works it, I don't see a part number on it but it does say Honda on the back side. ???

Awesome, thank you! I'm not sure why the previous owner took it off!

When the dealership initially receives the Ridgeline RTL, the tailgate lock emergency access cover is included in the glove box.

During PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection), if the dealership follows the PDI checklist, they are suppose to install the Tailgate Lock Emergency Access Cover. But, in practice, the dealership may just leave the cover in the glove box. The previous owner probably got it that way (i.e., left in the glove box).
