Rubbing noise from clutch
Hi there, on my 98 Acura cl with the 5 speed manual, I recently noticed a rubbing sound when parked and in idle with the clutch out. The sound goes away when the clutch is in.
Any help is appreciated thanks.

I can't discern very much from your video.....Sorry.
Usually, when a noise changes from when the clutch pedal is depressed to when it is extended indicates a release bearing. It is also called a throw out bearing. I am guessing though. As long as oil is in the transmission, that part is probably OK.
Regardless, if the transmission is pulled for inspection, replace everything....clutch plate, release bearing, and pressure plate. You should also pay extra to resurface the flywheel, and if that is removed -- replace the rear main seal on the crankshaft.

My 90 integra does that, the noise is a little different though, almost like when the power steering reservoir is low on an old Chevy. I chalked it up to the input shaft bearing being hurt. My trans had some water in it when I bought it. I just ignore it lol it hasn't really gotten worse. I think if you've put fresh oil in there it should be okay.
