1999 Civic Inverted Blink???
1999 Civic SI Canadian model
Okay so I’ve got the strangest problem. My right side blinker is blinking faster when the lights are off. Once you turn the lights on, the blink duration becomes very brief with a longer duration between blinks. I’m super confused because both bulbs appear to be working fine.
I couldn’t find anyone with a similar issue, all I found was people with hyperflashing which I wouldn’t say my issue really is.
With the hazards on, everything blinks perfectly normal. I’ve tried switching bulbs from side to side and nothing changed.
My next step is messing with grounds. Does anyone have any advice other than messing around with the grounds? I really think my flasher unit is fine because why would the hazards work perfectly?

I've seen this issue before but only a handful of times and the combination switch was the fault. As i remember there was a service bulletin about this issue long ago.
