I'm considering what other steps/precautions I should take after discovering rust in my fuel tank, primarily in the fuel pump pick-up tray.
• Should I replace the fuel pump and/or clean the fuel lines?
• Has anyone else experienced these problems?
• What did you do to fix them?
• How are things holding up afterwards?
At the moment I will:
• Drain and clean tank
• Replace fuel injectors
• Replace fuel filter
• Stop going to my local Shell station 🫠
Additional info:
This all started when I had a random misfire which I was able to test enough to determine it was caused by the 4th cylinder injector. During that time I replaced the PCV valve, hose, and cleaned the breather box which also had some rust.
The fuel filter had rust in it as well, so from one end point to the other rust is present.

I live in Florida, so it's a very humid environment.
Kind of a long post, so thanks for reading.
