Default Sputtering, fuel issues

Hello guys..

I have this 97 civic Lxi with D15Z4 in it. This specific issue has been bothering me for a while.

So, what happened is when I travel for long periods the car won't go past 2k rpm or sounds like having fuel starvation and sputtering even I have plenty of gas. What I do is turn the car off and start it again and it goes back to normal where I can rev into high rpms. This also happens if I'll do a hit from 2nd gear or anything that requires high rev range.

I already replaced my fuel pump, fuel pump strainer, fuel filter, did an injector cleaning, and even replaced my fuel pressure regulator.

What I noticed is when that happens the fuel pressure is very low where it is almost zero. When it does the car sputters and shakes like there's very little fuel then it dies but after starting it back up, the fuel pressure and engine is back to normal.

I would have suspected one of the components you replaced was causing this issue. Any CEL? You’ve already found the fuel pressure is the issue, just have to find out why. Can you swap another ECU? Could be your main relay. Any leaks in the fuel lines? Do you smell fuel?
