Looking for GSR crank pulley
Hey all, I'm looking for a stock GSR crank pulley. I got excited while doing the timing belt on my 96 GSR and cracked the pulley trying to get it off like an idiot.
I've been searching for months and had a few leads that turned out to be dead ends. So I ended up getting an ITR pulley from the UK (B18C6) just to drive it around.
If anyone has one for sale or is interested in swapping out their GSR pulley for an ITR pulley, I'd love to work with you! I'm about this close to buying a whole b18c1 short block just for the pulley.
Also side note for those who were curious; You CAN IN FACT have a cracked pulley repaired if you find the right guy. I have known of 2 expert machinists who've done it in the past, but I moved away from CA where they were located. They explained to me they "tin" the metal, get it red hot and literally pop it back in place. (There is more to it but that's the gist of it)
I found a guy near me in WA but was too lazy to drive 2 hours round trip twice (to drop and pickup) and I ended up taking a chance on a guy who tried to straight up weld the broken back in place. I don't trust the repaired pulley to not fatigue and shoot the piece off since it's showing a crack where it was welded.
If anyone can help please send me a PM!
Thanks in advance!
