Default B1237 AMD(As) motor Potentiometer Shorted - HVAC

2020 Accord.

OBD scanner found this: B1237 AMD(As) motor Potentiometer Shorted

Not experiencing an issue right now. May have to remove the glove box to see all the motor solenoids in action. Passenger temp control wiorking fine.

Couple years ago I had a B1220 and replaced the Fresh air Blend door motor (79351-TVE-H01). The telltale was that the Recirc LED did not illuminate. Removed the HVAC to get the motor back into place; not hard.

What else am I to be looking for and any system tests to run? Auto A/C seems to be functioning fine. Doesn’t seem like there's a wire harness or module issue. Thank you in advance.

Id clear the code and ignore it,if there are no issues.

If the code returns, you're very likely looking at a failing passenger air mix motor.

There are no printed service manuals, you'd need to buy a subscription if you're interested in trouble shooting steps:

Thanks. It was a cold morning 48F on the dark desert highway.

Passenger side blows cold unless pass temp forced on high temp; with recirc off.
A/c temp variation not noticed between sides.

This motor is accessible by removing the glove box? 79170-TEX-Y61 presuming the potentiometer is inside the motor?
