Just picked up a d16z6 but the idiots at the junk yard I bought it at drilled out the pan, which also went thru the oil pick up tube.
My question is, will the pan from a d15b6 (8 valve) and pick up tube fit the z6 oil pump?
if not
Will the pan and pick up tube from my d15b (130hp) one fit?

if that fails is the z6 pan and pick up tube available new? Very hard to find used d series parts in my area , I was lucky to have found this engine and at a very good price.

 

According to the research I've been doing the oil pick up tube has to match the pan, and from extensive research the d15b6 and d16z6 oil pump are the same, part #'s don't mach I'm guessing the d16z6 pump is a higher volume? And according to what I've read all d15/d16 oil pumps from 88-95 are the same except for flow rates is this correct?
