In the Age of dwindling Tuner Support - Am I crazy for jumping back into the EK Scene
I am considering scratching my import itch, and while i am (used to be) quite capable in the DIY turbo build scene, Im older with less time and more money...Am I crazy to dream about getting back into it via a B-Series EK or similar?
I would feel more confident if there were local tuners that could get me outta the inevitable jam, but it seems like such a word of mouth scene these days Im feeling hesitant. I want a project, but not stuck in the project.
Anyone else go through a build recently or have similar thoughts? Is my feeling legit?

Go for it. All the information you would need can still be found online and parts are available. I have two projects going currently and it’s been great taking the time to do it right and use quality parts, unlike back in my youth.
Get busy! There’s much more easily accessible information out there these days. Unfortunately, there are also a lot of folks chiming in, who don’t know what they’re talking about, or are trolling. But if you’ve still got the itch, do it. Do something you enjoy, and will appreciate the results of.
Just don’t make the mistake of modifying your only car. That was not fun, especially when you had no choice but to fix it
Im wanting to do the same but with work and the house, its gonna be a struggle. Im thinking, start with just buying an engine block and build up from there. Once I have the engine built, find a car to put it in.
