Default Automatic transmission replacement trouble on 1995 civic DX

I have a 1995 civic DX, I’m currently changing out the transmission, which is an A24A, and I looked at the new one i bought and the mounts are not the same. It was advertised as 92-95 M24A or S24A, but when it got here the code was SP24 which is a 96-00 transmission.

I know most d series transmissions are interchangeable, and the sp24 was used for the d16a, but the mounts are different and a few connectors are different so now I am not sure what to do.

Send it back. Your '92-95 ECU will not control the '96-00 transmission.
