Icon5 1991 Honda Civic ED3 Engine Swap

I bought a 1991 ED3 Civic sedan as my first car. It is not in a state of reliable drivability unfortunately. It has a dual carb d15b4 engine and the engine has a few carburetor problems. I thought about going to the effort of fixing them but I thought if I swap the engine to a fuel injected version I could get rid of the current problems and future carburetor problems.

I have in mind a d16y4 swap as I might have one available. I have no clue what I need for an engine swap and how much of a struggle this swap is going to end up being.

If anyone has done this swap, a similar swap, or knowledge of a how to perform a swap like this, I would love your help.

Hey man, I havent specifically done a d16 swap in an ED3 but I have recently done a b20v in my EF hatch.

As for general information, do lots of research on forums and youtube before ordering parts and installing.

It may seem like a daunting task at first, just take it one step at a time!

Good luck, if there are any questions you have I will try my best to help!
