Icon5 1998 Ek Hatch GSR Swap

im going to be swapping a b18c1 gsr in my 1998 dx ek hatchback hopefully this summer if not in the spring. the engine i bought has 225 compression across all cylinders. It does have 250k though so ive been told it was most likely rebuilt in the past couple years. There are a few things i have questions about though, like what spark plugs should i be running? ive also learned that i have to use a d16y8 harness and modify it slightly (the car is d16y7 currently) but im not sure what i need to modify and what spark plugs to choose because im running a chipped p06 ecu with a gsr tune. im also wondering what i should be replacing gaskets wise, as the engine is kind of just coated in oil. any help is appreciated

Depends on how much work you wanna do really and if you can locate the oil leak. Valve cover gasket is easy. I'd recommend oil pan gasket and front and rear main seals. Lots easier to do while the engine is out of the car. If you have the time, I'd just go ahead and do as many gaskets and seals as you can, really.

As far as spark plugs go, most people recommend NGK coppers for most applications. That's what I've seen for many different motors. But I don't have personal experience with B series. Tough to beat NGK coppers though. Whatever OEM is is always a good option.
