4th gen (91-93) CB9 wagon rotor over hub brake conversion parts question
Need to replace front brake rotors on my 91 wagon (one's a bit warped & both are almost at their wear limits). Since there are 34 years & 140k miles on the factory front hub bearings & the hub-over-rotor design means the hubs have to come off anyway, I want to simplify future brake servicing by doing a rotor-over-hub conversion at the same time, keeping the wagon's factory big front brakes (282 mm x 25 mm rotors & calipers) & 4 lug configuration (don't want to change wheels & tires).
Most of the conversion info I've found so far applies to coupes & sedans & references using 4 cylinder 98-99 Acura 2.3 CL hubs, rotors & calipers - issue with 2.3 CL rotors & calipers on a wagon is that 2.3 rotors are 2 mm thinner than wagon rotors (23 vs 25 mm).
One post mentioned that 1st gen CL 3.0 (V6) rotors are 4 lug (4x114.3) & have identical diameter / thickness specs (282 mm x 25 mm) to Accord wagon rotors, but didn't say whether 3.0 six cyl rotors on 2.3 four cyl hubs are compatible with Accord wagon calipers.
If anyone can confirm whether or not the combination of 98-99 2.3 (4 cyl) CL hubs, 98-99 3.0 (V6) CL rotors & factory 91-93 wagon front calipers works for a wagon rotor-over-hub conversion, it would be greatly appreciated.

When I did my Rotor-Over-Hub converstion 15? years ago, I used salvaged CL 3.0 front hubs with new Accord V6 bearnings and new CL 3.0 rotors. I could see my slide hammer weeping in the garage mumuring "you're never using me again".
It seems the Accord V6 and CL V6 have the same CV Axle diameter and Hub bore based on the bearing inner bore 1.9 inch, and the 4th gen Wagon inner bearing bore is smaller: 1.6 inch.
If you are just asking about the rotor diameter and your caliper: as long as the diameter is the same as the wagon your caliper bracket should clear it.
