Default RPMs drop and car stalls when clutch is to the floor

Stock 97 Civic CX, 5spd, Y7

As I was coming home from work and pulling into my parking spot at my apartment, I pushed the clutch to go into reverse and as soon as the clutch hit the floor the RPMs dropped immediately, the battery and oil pressure lights came on then the car suddenly stalled.

Pushed in the clutch and started the car up again, went into reverse and backed into my spot.

Clutched in again to go into neutral and once again, the clutch hit the floor and the car dropped to extremely low RPMs and then stuttered, the same dash lights came on and then it stalled.

Came back out a few hours later once the car had cooled down and tried to see if the same thing would happen again.

Pushed the clutch and the car started up with no issue, idle was higher now that it was cold.

I wanted to see if the car would shut off again so I dropped the clutch to the floor and the RPMs dipped by a few hundred, but not enough to completely kill the car.

While still idling, I fully depressed and let off of the clutch 4-5 times, to see if it would be enough to stall the car and if I had any issues getting into gear. The car did not die nor did I have any issues shifting into any gear, but now I started to hear a slight screeching sound every other time the clutch was fully to the floor.

I continued a few more times with clutch, trying to figure out if the intermittent screeching was related to the clutch pedal, but soon after I started smelling something burning and immediately shut off the car and popped the hood. By the time I got my POS hood release to pop the hood and take a look, I could see some faint traces of smoke in the engine bay but it wasn't concentrated in any one area for me to be able to tell where it was coming from. I haven't started or done anything else with the car since this happened a few days ago.

What could be the culprit here? There was no CEL and since it briefly comes on when turning the key, I have to assume the light works. I also have never had any clutch or transmissions issues with this car in the 2 years I've had it. Though I don't know how many miles are actually on the car since I bought it with a non-original cluster and LKQ 5-speed transmission.

Some googling I did leads me to believe it could be the IACV but since I had no CEL and the burning smell, that makes me lean toward it being the clutch throw-out bearing, but I am nowhere near confident enough to say for certain and since money is super tight for me right now, I'd like to get any other opinions before cough up the money to have a new clutch kit installed.

Any and all advice is SUPER appreciated! Thanks!

In case anyone in the future is brought to this thread, a new clutch kit solved my problems.
