2000 civic won’t start after distributor wiring fail
I tried wiring the negative side of the coil inside the distributor to the the blue wire on the drive side strut tower to fix the rpm gauge not working since I have a p06 vtec ecu chipped for my 2000 civic with the jumper harness and after that it no longer starts, I removed the wire too but only with the stock ecu does it start up fine and I even tried another p06 ecu and changed the jumper harness from my other civic, even tried another sst chip and still no start, it only cranks what could it be?
Well, you did that wrong. That is a high voltage wire. You should have connected the blue wire to the yellow/green ICM wire at the distributor... on the outside. No connection should be done on the inside. You may have blown a fuse for the ECU... or burned up the ECU... and maybe even damaged the tachometer in the gauge cluster.
