Default 94 JDM H22A Accord P2T4 main shaft endplay

attempting to recondition the P2T4 transmission in my 94 JDM H22A Accord and unsure of the main shaft endplay and the shim formula. i have a copy of the workshop manual for the 97-99 Prelude with a M2Y4 in it which gives the specs as 0.004" - 0.006" and a formula for the shim. but google comes up with different specs for different searches and i can't find anything for any H22A transmissions here or on any other forums

and help very much appreciated

Chris

That external play number is small enough to represent the lip seal tolerance on the housing. Measure your clutch housing spring and come up with your midpoint. Use the same method for shim selection and you should expect the same tolerance regardless of the housing.
