Hello folks, the car has sat at my moms house for 20 yrs now. Had a low milage junkyard engine put in it in 2005. They tried to start it and it would act like it wanted to start...but they were not the diagnostic sort, divorce in progress, just did not have the $$ to fix the problem. Now recently retired, been doing allot of reading. I think the exciter is bad, bought a whole new distributor assembly with new exciter. It bolted and plugged right in but I have this black wire that goes to a little square box bolted to the body??? Noise suppressor. Where should I connect this too???
