ABS Check light and starting
My car is 2001 Honda Civic.
In the middle of the display panel, there is a small yellow ABS check light and a large red SRS check light.
When I insert the car key into the key hole and push the key into position 1, both check lights and some other check lights will be on together with the seat belt reminder.
Usually, I will wait untill both check lights to turn off and the seat belt reminder stopped before I push the car key into position 2 to start the car.
When I push the key into position 2, the ABS light will turn on again. Sometimes, it prevent me to start the car, I need to release the key back into position 1, wait untill the ABS light to go off and then push the key into position 2 to start the car. The ABS light still on, but I can start the car. This is situation one.
The other situation is the ABS light turn on again together with some Git Git sound, I need to release the key back into position 1 and the Git Git sound will stop, wait untill the ABS light to go off and then push the key into position 2 to start the car. The ABS light still on, but I can start the car. This Git Git sound is the same sound as start the car again after started the car. This is situation two.
The third situation is the combination of situation one and two. I start the car, the ABS light on, I wait untill it to go off and try again, this time the ABS light on with some sound, I wait untill to go off and try again, and I can start the car although the ABS light is still on. or situation two first then situation one.
Any comment abut this?
When there is some Git Git sound, will the spark plug be damaged?
